BULGARIA HOTSPOT FOR US TOURISTS - ROMANIAN DAILY
The number of US tourists choosing Bulgaria for the summer holiday destination is constantly going up, Romanian "Evenimentul zilei" daily reports.
Bulgaria, Poland, Slovakia and Croatia are becoming tourism hotspots for the America tourists. The Americans willing to visit Europe, but being afraid of the trap of the European currency are choosing destinations from the eastern parts of the continent, the Romanian newspaper said.
According to the article the tour operators are taking advantage of these facts and are offering to the US tourists vacation places where the currency rate is much more advantageous to the Americans than the rate of the Euro. Thus Eastern Europe makes a kind of a dumping on the tourism market, "Evenimentul zilei claims.
The US tourists widely favour Bulgaria. The country's beaches are full. Black Sea capital Varna and the northern town of Balchik are among the favourites of the Americans, tour operators say.
